We managed to finish our Assignment

Wow! I am happy we could do that. We successfully completed the Skype conference for our Team (A1). We managed to make the conference with 2 skype users (Beth and me) and a real phone number (Diane's). I am afraid that Nancy was not able to participate because of her schedule at work. She told us about it. We talked about blogs: an easy way for allowing people to share their thoughts with the rest of the World in a Web page.

We also talked about the privacy issues: it is important to protect your privacy and personal data and to manage to set up it right among the options. We use to get to know blogs sharing links and finding like any other web page (can be found on Google, for example), and by means of other blogs.

So, it seems it is the last part of the assignment. I hope it is enough. :-)

  1. I’d like to know more about your discussions on privacy. I have been blogging for a few years now, and most of my information is available to the whole web. Privacy has not really been an issue. What were your thoughts?

  2. We discussed about being tracked, being spammed or being known the personal details of the private data of our account profiles if not well configured. That’s a point that just got out of the conversation.

We spend some time just dealing with account configuration, so this is one of the things we talked about. That’s all.
